Beading for Christmas

I have always beaded for friends and family for Christmas and Birthday presents. This year I decided to bead for a bigger cause than just gifts for my family and friends. It just so happened that I had been given the right color of beads to make little bracelets in the colors of the Haitian Flag. We have been raising money for an orphanage in Haiti since the earthquake happened a few years ago. I thought that even if I sold a few, the extra money could go to the orphans in Haiti that we as a family support. To my surprise I posted this idea on Facebook and with in minutes I had an order for 6 bracelets, and then the next day an order for 8. Every dollar I raise from the sale of the bracelets will go to the fund. I'm selling them for $3 each and they are pretty little glass bead bracelets. My husband and son are even wearing them, so while they may seem perfect for girls, they aren't too girly for the guys to wear them so they can remember to pray for Haiti too!

My cat Smoky naps while I bead He is a big help! LOL

As these bracelets are being made I say a prayer of blessing on the buyer and for the Orphans in Haiti! Thank you! God Bless you!
